Our Mission & Programs

Naboi Hope Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting orphaned and vulnerable children. We help meet their basic needs through four core programs: Education Assistance, Feeding and Nutrition, Clothing and Essential Supplies, and Shelter and Safe Living Conditions.

Our Story

The Naboi Hope Foundation was born from a simple yet powerful realization: that sustainable change begins with communal trust and shared hope. Founded by visionary leaders who witnessed firsthand the resilience of underserved communities, our story is one of grassroots empowerment and institutional transformation.

What started as a local initiative has grown into a structured foundation dedicated to social impact. We believe in the dignity of every individual and the potential of every community to rise above adversity when provided with the right resources and a clear path forward.

What We Do

Education Assistance

We help orphaned and vulnerable children access and stay in school by supporting school fees, uniforms, shoes, books, and essential learning materials.

Feeding and Nutrition

We reduce hunger among vulnerable households by providing food supplies, supporting access to nutritious meals, and responding to urgent food shortages for children and caregivers.

Clothing, Shelter & Care

We help ensure children have clothing, blankets, safe shelter, and basic household necessities, while connecting families with community resources and emergency support when possible.

Grace Lokulang

Founder & President, Naboi Hope Foundation

My name is Grace Lokulang, Founder and President of Naboi Hope Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting vulnerable and orphaned children with basic necessities, education, healthcare, shelter, and opportunities for a brighter future. Within two months, I lost both of my beloved sisters, Alice Nakang and Asunta Nakeny, to suicide, leaving behind twelve children. That loss and responsibility could have broken me, but instead I chose to turn my pain into purpose.

I founded Naboi Hope Foundation in their honor—to care for their twelve children and extend support to other vulnerable children in my community. As a mother of three, I believe every child deserves to feel safe, loved, valued, and supported. Through this foundation, I advocate for children and families who struggle to meet basic needs and work to ensure that no child is forgotten.

“Our sisters' lives ended in tragedy, but their love and legacy continue through the children they left behind. Naboi Hope Foundation is my way of honoring their memory and helping vulnerable children find hope, dignity, and opportunity.” — Grace Lokulang
